D2.1 – Technical Report on National Use Cases and Scenario Selection – Appendix B
This document serves as a publicly available annex to Deliverable D2.1 within the Lux4QCI project, summarizing key insights derived from Task T2.1.
The purpose of this document is to briefly describe the use cases, scenarios, and potential stakeholders of the LuxQCI system developed within the Lux4QCI project. The stakeholders are governmental and private entities, which have been categorized based on their industry affiliation, such as defence and military, governmental entities, healthcare, financial institutions, IT industry, communication industry, and transport industry. The identified use cases involve the integration of QKD-generated keys into existing security techniques. This, mainly, aims to ensure highly secure data transmission, particularly for the governmental sector, as well as protect long-term stored data, especially within the healthcare sector.
D3.3 – Public Annex
This document outlines the integration of the Software-Defined Network (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) paradigms within the Lux4QCI Quantum Key Distribution Network (QKDN) and the role of each component within the architecture. It defines the interfaces and components required for end-to-end key management. Additionally, the document defines the requirements for secure key relaying and a dedicated Secure QKD KeyRelay (SEQURE) protocol specified within the Lux4QCI project. This protocol enables end-to-end key management in centralized and distributed QKDNs and allows secure key relaying across different QKDNs with different architectures.
Finally, it outlines the Quantum Key Distribution Network Emulator (QKDNE) developed within Lux4QCI and the performance evaluation of the key relay method and the SEQURE protocol.
D5.1 – Dissemination and Exploitation
The main purpose of this deliverable is the provision of strategies for the dissemination, communication, and exploitation of the project results. Key aspects described in this deliverable are the communication of the project achievements to society, dissemination to targeted groups such as potential customers, industry players, and end-users, exploitation of project results to other peers, and exchange of results with other Horizon Europe/DEP/CEF and national QCI initiatives such as LUQCIA. This is the first version of the document, as it has been planned that the interim and final versions of this report will be produced respectively by M15 and M30. This strategy is aligned with the project development as well as to further develop and improve the communication and dissemination of the project results.
D5.2 – Impact creation report and initial exploitation plan
The main purpose of this deliverable is to provide an initial report on the impact creation and an initial plan for the exploitation of the project results. Key aspects described in this deliverable are the achieved impact of the project achievements on society, dissemination to targeted groups such as potential customers, industry players, and end-users, and plans for exploitation of project results to other peers and exchange of results with other Horizon Europe/DEP/CEF and national QCI initiatives such as LUQCIA. This is the second version of the document, as its first version (D5.1, Dissemination and exploitation) was submitted on M05, and the final version of this report will be produced by M30 (D5.3, Final impact report, roadmap and exploitation plan), in line to further develop and improve the communication and dissemination of the project results in line also with the technical deployment of the results.
